Sandra P. (Boger) Steadman

High Point- Mrs. Sandra Boger Steadman, 81 was received by her Lord Thursday November 26, 2020 at WFBH High Point Regional Medical Center. Although her death was unexpected she was surrounded by the comfort of her daughters by her side. She was born August 29, 1939 in Durham, NC to the late William Kitchen and Ethel King Boger. She graduated from Pensacola High School Pensacola, FL in 1957. She attended Agnes Scott College her freshman year and received her BA in English at the University or Florida in 1961. She served as a proud member of the Kappa Delta Sorority Beta Pi. Chapter at the University of Florida during this time.  Sandra completed her Master's Degree from Duke University in 1963 where she met and married  the love of her life Horace Dean Steadman Jr in 1965. She taught English in Durham and Lenoir County public schools while supporting her husband through pharmacy school. She impacted the lives of many students as an ESL teacher at GTCC by teaching English as a second language.  She assisted her community as a dedicated Real Estate Broker in High Point. Sandra was a proud and active member of  Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband Horace in 2017. In love, they were married for 51 years.

Sandra is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Marydeth Judge (Bill) of Greensboro and Deanna Bruzzese (Ron) of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Nathan and Kaylee Bruzzese; and her sister Constance "Connie" Boger Addison (Duane) of Boone.

A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at a later time when family and friends can gather together.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Piedmont and Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in High Point.
