Shirley Stone Osborn

ARCHDALE-Shirley Stone Osborn, 68, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021.

She was born on June 17, 1952 in Guilford County, a daughter of the late Eugene Stone and the late Barbara James Richardson. Shirley enjoyed shopping, going on picnics; especially to Hanging Rock State Park, collecting Elvis memorabilia and dolls. She was an avid animal lover, but her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, and will be dearly missed.  In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her daughter, Jeannie Kota.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband of 42 years, Steve Osborn; her daughter, Janie Minish and her husband, Bryan; her brothers, Larry Stone and his wife, Rhonda, and Kenny Stone; her sister, Delores Gibbons and her husband, Thomas and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Barker, Chasten Kota and Tristen Stanley.

A service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held on Friday afternoon, at 1:00 p.m., in the Mausoleum Chapel at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro, with Pastor Roger Carmichael officiating.
