Mr. Solomon Alfred Pegram, Jr., 72, resident of High Point, died January 14, 2020 at Hospice Home at High Point.
Solomon was born October 14, 1947 in Guilford County, a son to the late Solomon Alfred Pegram, Sr. and Katherine Fulton Pegram. After graduating Guilford College his career as a CPA/CFO offered him the opportunity to travel and live a period of time in beloved Italy where he developed a passion for cooking and wines. In 1967, he married the former Patsy Walker who survives of the residence. Solomon enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard, golfing, fishing and camping. He loved fun filled vacations with family and friends.
Also surviving is a son, Kyle Pegram of High Point; daughter, Dawn Musil and husband Scott of Coral Springs, FL; four grandchildren, Tanner Pegram, Maxton Pegram, Hayden Musil and Mackenzie Musil; brothers, Jerry Pegram and wife Denise, Steve Pegram; and sisters, Kathy Pegram, and Lori Blake and husband George.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, in the Life Tribute Center of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Home of High Point, 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, N.C. 27262.
