Stayce Lee Hedgecock

TRINITY – Stayce Lee Hedgecock, 41, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in McDowell County.

He was born October 2, 1978, in Guilford County and was the son of Vickie Powell Hedgecock and the late Robert M. Hedgecock. Stayce enjoyed cooking, music and singing.  He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cayce Hedgecock.

He is survived by his daughter, Grayson “Grayce” Hedgecock of Oak Ridge; two sons, Emerson “Emery” Hedgecock and Brady Hedgecock; his mother, Vickie P. Hedgecock, all of Trinity; brother, Tony Hedgecock (Kimberly); niece, Karleigh Hedgecock, all of Thomasville; and his former wife, Stephanie Hedgecock of Trinity.

Graveside service celebrating Stayce’s life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Tim Thornsbury and Rev. Phillip Ball officiating.

The family will speak with friends following the service on Saturday at the cemetery. There will be no formal visitation, but friends may informally pay their respects from 12:00 to 4:00 PM Friday at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
