Stephen Jayson "Steve" Bauman

ARCHDALE-Stephen Jayson "Steve" Bauman, 81, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

He was born on April 25, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Sidney and Thelma Zimmerman Bauman. Steve proudly served his country in the US Navy as an Engineer, retiring after 25 years of service. After the service, he served as a Fire Marshall in the Brooklyn area.  He enjoyed drawing, making people laugh and spending time with his family. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather, and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his children, Michelle Bauman, Jason Bauman, Trey Oliveros, Loretta Bauman, Deborah Bauman, and Jennifer Odell; his brother, Stuart Wassel, and 3 grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Steve's life will be held on Friday evening, May 17, at 7 o'clock, at Trinity Baptist Church, with Pastor Morris Little officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
