Susan Ruth (Transeau) Carroza

Susan Ruth Carroza, 61, of Trinity, passed away Thursday April 18,2024, at her home.

Susan was born in Guilford County and will be remembered by having a heart of gold. She would help anybody in need, she was known to not be able to say “No” when asked for help of any kind. Susan met the love of her life, Mark, in New Orleans and married him in 2001; where they lived until Hurricane Katrina relocated them back locally. She embodied the spirit of a fighter as she struggled with health issues most of her life but was determined to not allow her struggles define or limit her as much as possible.

In addition to her father, LeeRoy Transeau, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Transeau, Jesse Lee Transeau, Roger Transeau, David Transeau; sisters, Jeanette Kennedy and Rebecca Scott.

Surviving Susan is her husband, Mark Carroza of 24 years; mother, Imogene Pruitt; stepfather, Claude Pruitt; Son, Josh Love; daughter, Brianna Carroza; goddaughter, Sophia Brown; granddaughter, Raina Love; aunt and uncle, Darlene and Tommy Brown and several other family members that she loved dearly.
