Susan Biles Flowers

HIGH POINT - Susan Biles Flowers, 69, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

She was born on May 19, 1952, in High Point, a daughter of the late Harley Hudson Biles, Sr. and Hattie Jones Biles. A resident of this area all her life, she worked for Tomlinson/Erwin-Lambeth in Thomasville since 2011. Susan enjoyed time with her family; especially going to her grandchildren’s sporting events. She also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her grand-dogs. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her older brother, Harley Hudson Biles, Jr. and her beloved Yorkie, Josie.

She is survived by; her children, Wendi Swaney and her husband, Eddie and Steven Flowers and his wife, Lisa; her sister, Karen Starrett and her husband, Don; her grandchildren, Zachary Hege and his wife Jessica, Talon Flowers and his fiancé, Zenada, Taylor Mercer and her husband, Silas, Skyler Swaney, and Noah Swaney. Also surviving are; her great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Nathan, Peyton, Owen, Blake, and Michael; her nieces, Jennifer Starrett, Emily Spinks, and Amber Shelton; her nephew, Eric Starrett, and her aunt, Jewel Farlow.

A service to celebrate Susan’s wonderful life will be held on Thursday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Pastor Benny Smith officiating. Her family will receive friends on Thursday following the service at the funeral home.
