Tej Daryani

HIGH POINT—Mr. Tej Daryani, 80 passed away peacefully at home on Friday September 4, 2020 while with his wife, Savita.

He was born September 19, 1939 in Hyderabad, Pakistan to the late Menghrajmal and Laxmi Daryani.

Tej lived his life to the fullest - always the prankster and jokester. He loved the ocean, loved to dance, and loved to celebrate. He was one of six children. He was a loving, devoted husband to his wife and a wonderful, loving father and grandfather. He was a retired Mechanical Engineer for Alpha Tape in NJ.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years; one son, Sanjay Daryani of High Point; one daughter, Neeta Gropper and husband Cy of Timberlake; one brother Daulat Daryani; and three grandchildren: Josh, Jared, and Gabriella Gropper.

The family will celebrate his life 1:00pm Monday September 7, 2020 at The Life Tribute Center at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.
