Teresa “Terrie” Marks, 57, of Randolph County, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 30, 2019.
Terrie was born in Charlotte on February 8, 1962 to Barbara Gailey, of High Point and the late William Allen Gailey. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Gailey.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her brother, Scott Gailey and wife, Wendy and children, Devon and Dylan; her aunt, Faie Small; cousin Yolanda Holt and her children, Brittany and Courtney; niece Ashley Stone and husband Brandon and children, Canon and Olive; nephew, Dusty Gailey and children Bella and Wyatt; special companion, John Richardson.
She attended Guilford County schools and Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington. Terrie was employed by Grandover Resort in Greensboro for 18 years and prior to that she worked many years in Interior Design. She was very caring, generous and loved helping people. Her strong faith in the Lord was evident in all that she did. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
A memorial service to celebrate Terrie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at First Wesleyan Church in Room 108, 1701 Westchester Drive in High Point and officiated by Pastor Chris Thore and Pastor Chan Shaver. The family will greet friends following the service. Friends are asked to enter the church at the back entrance.
