Teresa Joanne (Hardee) McGaha

TRINITY – Teresa Joanne Hardee McGaha, 64, died Friday, June 17, 2022, at Randolph Hospice House.

She was born October 20, 1957, in Horry County South Carolina, and was the daughter of Blanche Soles Caudle and the late J. Charles Hardee. She had worked with Community Transport, Inc. and was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. Teresa enjoyed coloring and traveling and loved animals.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Luther McGaha; sister, Diane Creel; and brother, Johnny Hardee.

Teresa is survived by her mother, Blanche Soles Caudle (James); sister, Regina Williams; brother, Jimmy Hardee (Debbie), all of Trinity; five nieces, Cynthia Bolton (Michael) of High Point, Lauren Anderson (Derek) and Danielle Hooker (Ronnie), both of Asheboro, and Deanna Creel (Anthony) and Teral Owens (David), both of Trinity; two nephews, Timothy Hardee (Donna) of Sophia and Joshua Williams (Celeste) of Lexington; Dixie Williams, the apple of her eye; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral service celebrating Teresa’s life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at New Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
