Teresa Ann (Wilkes) Vernon

THOMASVILLE - Teresa Ann Wilkes Vernon, 60, died Monday, January 8, 2018, at Thomasville Medical Center.

She was born December 2, 1957, in Guilford County and was the daughter of the late Ferrel Hubert Fouts and Lois Aileen Breeden Wilkes King.  Prior to her disability retirement, she was an office clerk with Sara Lee Corporation.  Teresa loved summer, playing cards and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Robin Vernon; one daughter, Christy Vernon; three grandsons, Cody Severt, Hunter Vernon and Joshua Thompson; three sisters, Sandra Stevenson, Bonnie Lawson and Sherrie Lawson; one brother, Kenneth Wayne Wilkes and his wife, Beth; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
