Tesla Shea Hill

On October 1, 2017, God saw fit to send an angel for his beloved Tesla Hill.  Tesla was born February 15, 2000, to Thomas ‘Matt’ Hill and the best mother that she knew, Shelby Strickland.  Tesla was a senior at High Point Central High School and loved playing the flute in the school band.  She was hoping to have a career in the Army.

Tesla never met a stranger and her smile would light up any room she walked into.  She loved to make people laugh.  If you were down, she was the one to lift your spirits.  Tesla loved to help others and you could count on her at any time.

Tesla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delora and Emmit Hill, and Glenn and Bonnie Strickland of High Point.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her father, Thomas ‘Matt’ Hill, and mother, Shelby Strickland of High Point; her sister, Kayla Hill (Tristan Thomas) of High Point; nephew, Noah Hill, of High Point; special uncle, Timothy Hill, and special aunt, Cathy Nguyen, both of High Point; aunt, Mary Jane Sandridge (William) of Jamestown; two uncles, Dan Hill (Chrystal) of Salisbury, NC, and Stephen Oxendine (Amy) of Marion, VA.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point, with Pastor Dean Tsiolkas and Pastor Jim Shields officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.
