Tho Qui Nguyen

ARCHDALE-Tho Qui Nguyen, 92, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020.

He was born in Vietnam and served as an officer and a solider, with the Army of the Republic of Vietnam, which were the ground forces for the South Vietnamese military.  After his military career, he relocated to the Archdale area. Tho enjoyed politics and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, grandfather and great grandfather and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife; Khodijah Khodijah; his grandsons, Hai Mariad and his wife, Thao Van, Hieu Nguyen and his wife, Dai Nguyen; his great grandchildren, Steven Van, Sarah Van, Samuel Van, Simon Van, Dylan Nguyen, Deenna Nguyen, and Deveen Nguyen.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon, February 2, at 2 o’clock, at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Paul Cao officiating. Interment will follow in Carolina Biblical Gardens. His family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, from 12 until 1:45 at the funeral home.
