Timothy "Timmy" Darryl Shives

HIGH POINT – Timothy “Timmy” Darryl  Shives, 57, died Monday, June 18, 2018, at High Point Regional Hospital. 

He was born October 26, 1960, in High Point and was the son of Roby Junior Shives and the late Barbara Jean Johnson Shives.  He attended Ledford High School and worked in the construction industry for many years.

Timmy is survived by his father, Roby Shives of High Point; three sisters, Donna Shives of Thomasville, Sherri Shives Tallant of High Point, and Kim Shives Whitaker of Winston-Salem; one brother, Johnny Shives and his wife, Tracy, of Kernersville; seven nephews; and several cousins and extended family.

Memorial service celebrating Timmy’s life will be held 4:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with Pastor Josh Sands officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
