Mr. Tommy Rudolph Dillon, 81, formerly of Archdale, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, at his residence in Eden.
Born July 23, 1937, in High Point, Tommy was the son of the late Rudolph Thomas and Eddie Mae Smith Dillon. He was a graduate of High Point High School and owned and operated Dillon Automotive for 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to shag.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rosemary Newman Dillon; children, Mark Dillon and wife, Kim, Britt Wilson, and Joe Dillon and wife Deiska; three step-children, Tammy Wilson and husband, Rodney, Suzanne De Priest and husband, James, and Chris Crowder and fiancée Candy; 13 grandchildren, McKenzie Wilson, Myles Dillon and wife, Hannah, Cole Dillon and wife, Kimberly, Matt Dillon and fiancée, Jessica, Madison King and husband, Joshua, Kaley Clapp and husband, Dustin, Zack Williams and wife, Katie, Amy Wilson, Tara Wilson, Rebecca De Priest, Adam De Priest, Chance Crowder and Zack Crowder; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marcy Neal and husband, Jack, and Barbara Bohler; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27th, 2018, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale. Memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jamie Stevenson and Rev. Cole Dillon officiating.
