Veronica (Gomes) Gomes

High Point—Mrs. Veronica Gomes, age 81 passed away October 30, 2019 at Hamilton Continuing Care in Hamilton Township, NJ.

Mrs. Gomes was born February 22, 1938 in Dhaka Bangladesh a Daughter of Anthony Gomes and Juliana Gomes. She was a devout Catholic and a member of Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in High Point. She was a loving Mother and Homemaker.

Veronica was preceded in death by her Parents; one sister Monica Gomes and her beloved husband of 61 years Thomas Gomes.

She is survived by three sons; Noel Gomes and his wife Mathelda of Richmond VA, Harry Gomes and his wife, Florence of Charlotte, NC and Mark Gomes and his wife Emily of High Point, NC; three daughters; Myra Rosario and husband Francis of Hamilton, NJ, Catherine Gomes and husband Frances, of London England and Ruth Rosario and husband Libaratus from Princeton NJ eleven grandchildren Mary Ann Rodrick and husband David, Rosemary Gomes, Francesca Gomes and husband Joseph, Victoria Gomes, Savio Rozario and wife Geraldine, Jonathan Gomes, Joshua Gomes, Veronica Gomes, Shirley Gomes, Russell Rozario and Leah Rozario; four Great grandchildren Abigail Rodricks, Johan Rozario, Jeremiah Rosario, and Elijah Gomes

A Mass of The Christian Burial will be Conducted 2:00 PM Saturday November 2, 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church High Point, NC with Rev. Thomas P. Norris OSFS officiating. Interment to follow at Deep River Friends Meeting Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and from 6-8 PM Friday at Cumby Family Funeral Service High Point Chapel.
