Vickie Lynn Blackburn

Ms. Vickie Lynn Blackburn, 66, resident of High Point, died March 11, 2018 after several years of illness.

Vickie was born October 19, 1951 in Guilford County, a daughter to the late Walter S. and Mary Elizabeth Koonce Blackburn.  She was a resident of this area most of her life and was of the Quaker faith.

Surviving is her daughter, Lindsay Claire Prillaman and Matthew Kill of High Point; three sons, Jeremy Davis of High Point, Dustin Davis and wife Katie of Clemmons and Randy Davis Jr. and wife Vanessa Welch of Wilmington; three brothers, Walt Blackburn Jr. of High Point, Jim Blackburn and wife Janet of Archdale and David Blackburn and wife Rose of Asheboro; and five grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Kendell, Griffin, Rowan, Turner and Elliott.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.  Visitation will immediately follow the service.  Memorials may be directed to the American Lyme Disease Foundation, P.O. Box 466, Lyme, CT, 06371.
