HIGH POINT-Wanda Clark Dills, 73, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020.
She was born on August 4, 1946 in Jamestown, to the late Gilbert Branson and Melba Young Clark. A resident of this area all her life, she was a former employee of Cummings Diesel and an active member of Bales Chapel Wesleyan Church, as long as her health permitted. Wanda enjoyed gardening, cooking Sunday lunch and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was her step mother, Garnett Hill Clark. She was a loving wife, mother, sister,grandmother, great grandmother and neighborhood mom, and will be dearly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband of 54 years, Joe Dills; her children, Branson Dills and his wife, Cindy, Wendy Louise Dills Vick, Jonathan Dills and his wife, Danielle; her sister, Paulette Brewer and her husband, Don; her brother, Terry Clark and his wife, Denise; her grandchildren, Courtney Reams and her husband, Jake, Brooke Warren and her husband, Ryan, Jordan Vick, Hailey Vick, Jillian Vick, Holden Vick, Marceline Dills, and Myah Dills; her great grandchildren, Colt Reams and Eden Warren.
A service to celebrate Wanda’s life will be held on Monday morning, February 17, at 11 o’clock, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service of Archdale, with Pastor Doug Dennis officiating. The committal service will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Monday morning, from 9:45 until 10:45, at the funeral home.
