Wava (Grammie) Harms

            Mrs. Wava J. (Grammie) Harms, 77, resident of High Point, died May 10, 2018 at High Point Regional Hospital.

            Wava was born July 17, 1940 in Otoe County, Nebraska, a daughter to the late William (Bill) and Dovie Fivecoats Horner.  She was married to Paul Henry Cass who preceded her in death and later to Lawrence Lee Harms who also preceded her in death.  She, along with her husband, operated L & W Rabbitry for several years.

            Surviving is her daughter, Janette Surrell of Jesup, GA; her sister-in-law, Lola Bell Horner; three grandchildren, of whom she was so proud, Curtis Hutton and family of Jesup, GA, Patrick Surrell and family of New Castle, VA and Nikkita Surrell and Ronnie of High Point; as well as other adopted children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.
