William "Bill" Albert Macon

Mr. William Albert Macon, 73, of Sophia, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at the Hospice Home at High Point.

Born September 6, 1945, in Guilford County, Bill was the son of the late William and Pearl Scearce Macon. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Midgie Lee Macon. Bill owned and operated Hickory Tree Furniture, and enjoyed working in his garden.

Survivors include his sons, William Macon, Jr., and wife Angie, and David Reese and wife, Tammy; a brother, Dale Macon; two sisters, Helen Macon and Betty Osborne; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Service will be private. Arrangements by Cumby Family Funeral Services in Archdale.
