William "Eddie" Edward Skipper, Jr.

Mr. William Edward Skipper, Jr., 49, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 4, 1969, in Thomasville, Eddie was the son of Bill and Geraldine Nealey Skipper. He was a member of Caraway Baptist Church in Sophia, where he served as a Teen Leader, former Sunday School Teacher, and as the Soul Winning Director. He worked for Brookline Furniture and enjoyed hunting. He also loved being a Paw Paw.

Eddie is survived by his wife,  Immy Meadows Skipper; his mother, Geraldine Skipper; five children, Ryan Skipper and wife, Carissa, Tiffany Garcia and husband, Derrick, Jessica Dezern, Ashley Allred and husband, Daniel, and Haley Skipper; 10 grandchildren, Colby, Riley, Bradley, Braden, Maddy, Kady, Selena, Christian, Vince and Aly; two brothers, Jamey Skipper and wife, Crissie, and Rodney Skipper and wife, Charity; and nieces and nephews, Faith, Hope, Trey, Stacey, Destiny, John, Sam, Cody, Courtney, Kim, Landon, Ryan, Garrett and Evan.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18th, at Caraway Baptist Church in Sophia, officiated by Pastor Fredie Meadows and Brother Rodney Skipper. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night, Sept. 17th, from 6 until 8, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
