Yvette (Roberts) Cooke

Mrs. Yvette Roberts Cooke, 56, resident of Trinity, died December 3, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mrs. Cooke was born August 19, 1962 in Kings Mountain, NC, a daughter to the late Kenneth and Phyllis Campbell Roberts.  She was a resident of this area since 1986 where she was a teacher with Randolph County Schools almost 30 years and was a member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.  Yvette loved people and had a passion for humanitarian aid within her community as shown through her affiliation with World Relief Triad.  In 1985 she married David Cooke who survives of the residence.

Also surviving are her sons, Hayden Cooke and wife Cymbre of Winston-Salem and Austin Cooke and wife Anna of High Point; her daughter, Amber Cooke of the residence; her brother, Craig Roberts and wife Karen of Greenville, NC; and three grandchildren, Judah, Pippin and Arlo.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church with Rev.
