Mrs. Nellie Stanley Morgan, 83, resident of Archdale, died December 6th, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House.
Mrs. Morgan was born February 10th, 1930 in Surry County and had been a resident of this area most of her life. She was an active member of Archdale Church of the Nazarene and had worked 28 years as a nurse at High Point Regional Hospital. Her three loves were her church, family and nursing.
Surviving is a son, Bill Morgan and wife Lee of Trinity; four daughters, Cindy Ford of Archdale, Debbie Green of Archdale, Brenda Hall of Archdale and Judy Blackburn of Thomasville; a sister, Nancy Garrett and husband Carroll of Danville, VA; nine grandchildren, Shelly and husband Jesus, Eric and wife Diana, Anthony, Andy, Kristi, Kelly and husband Chris, Ryan and wife Stefanie, Bryan and Brett and wife Sandra; thirteen great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Hayden, Kayden, Rylee, Courtney, Jay, Josh, Gabriel, Corbin, Gavin, Brittany, Patrick and Erika; and beloved nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard, Lee Morgan; her mother, Sallie Stanley and her son, Johnnie Wayne Morgan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
