Olga "Sis" Turner Hartley

                Mrs. Olga “Sis” Turner Hartley, 80, of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital at Moses Cone with her family by her side.
                Olga was born August 21, 1931 in High Point, NC a daughter of the late Jerome and Freezie Turner.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Thomas Hartley, a daughter, Brenda Hartley Whitehart, three brothers, and her second husband, Bob Buck.
                Sis was of the Trinity area all of her life.  She was a member of Thomasville Friends and of Quaker women.  Sis was the previous owner of Creekside Hair in Archdale.  She enjoyed spending time shopping with her sisters and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Olga was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.  She will be truly missed by all.  
                Mrs. Hartley is survived by two sons, Ricky Lee Hartley and his wife, Carolee of Trinity and Michael Thomas Hartley and his wife, Teresa of Shallotte, NC; two sisters, Betty Jo Mendenhall and her husband, Forrest and Lucille Goins and her husband, Cecil  all of Trinity; three brothers, Fred Turner and his wife Susie of Trinity, Donald Turner and his wife, Rena of Statesville, and Billy Turner and his wife, Shelby of Thomasville; seven grandchildren, Wendy Bartley and her husband, Michael, Amy Burchette and her husband, Todd, Tara Burge and her husband, Dean, Chris Hartley, Mike Hartley, and Jody Hartley Day and his wife, Jan; and fourteen great grandchildren.
                A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, April 27th at Thomasville Friends Meeting with Rev. JC Alley, Pastor Mike Blythe, and Pastor Bill Britt officiating.  Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Thursday, April 26th from 6 until 8 pm at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale and other times at her home.
