I was blessed to get to know Charlie through the transition of Classic Gallery to Decca. He was such a knowledgeable and noble true "furniture man". So sorry to hear of his passing. But I'm honored to have known him.
Life is so tender, so fragile, so very precious. God is our refuge and strength… Psalm 46:1 Thoughts of deep and sincere sympathy are with the family at this time.

There was always some reverence of the relationship between our families. Your parents were a blessing to us and many others! I feel that now as I mourn with you. I pray for you all. We were cut from a different kind of cloth. Brought up with morals and values. These things will never leave us, and it is our duty to carry the things we were taught forward. I love.you. If you ever need me...even if its just to talk. Iam here for you.
Sincerely submitted,
Roderick Robertson

Chris,
Mimi & I were sad to hear about Charlie death. He certainly was a great guy and a real asset to this community. I know that he loved Ireland and that he loved music. When I heard about his death, I sat in my living room and sang, "The Parting Glass". I hope that you have someone to sing it as a tribute to him. I would be glad to sing it in his honor, whenever you might feel it appropriate. Again, sorry for your lost. - David Williams

What fond memories I have of Charlie. He seemed always to be involved in making something better. What a life well lived! Throughout the thirty plus years I've known Charlie and Chris I found him to be the warm and welcoming person. I remember especially the St Patricks Day parties as a way to show how much he loved all things Irish but also how much he appreciated and loved friends and family. And how proud he was of Chris and his entire family. I am so sorry he is gone but know his impact will live on in so many ways. and that you have many many memories to sustain you. Eleanor

My family lived beside Charlie & Chris in the mid-sixties when they first moved to
High Point. I was a young college student at HPU and Charlie made quite an impression on me with his work ethic and being a great family man. I never forgot that, and the fact that Chris & Charlie were always there for my parents. He obviously will be missed in so many ways and our thoughts and prayers go out to Chris and the entire family.

Dear Christine and family,
You have all been in our thoughts and prayers since Aunt Marie called us on Tuesday night. There is comfort in knowing that Charlie is absent from the body and present with the Lord, and is no longer suffering with cancer. It is so hard to give our loved ones up but we can take comfort in knowing that we will see them again. The two "Charlie"s are now reunited again. All our love, Jayrene and Bill Maness

Sorry for the loss of your loved one. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. Revelation 2 1:3, 4 gives further assurance death will be swallowed up forever. This is a comforting thought knowing your loved one is in God's memory. Hope this brings comfort.
