Edna Virginia (Stone) Jarvis

Mrs. Edna Virginia Stone Jarvis, 100, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late Andrew “Mac” Jarvis who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Jarvis was born on July 13, 1916 in Guilford County a daughter of the late Lester A. Stone and Hattie Ridge Stone.  She was a member of Northwood United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Bobby S. Jarvis and his wife, Betty of High Point, Rev. Frank M. Jarvis and his wife, Phyllis of Trinity, and C. Wade Jarvis and his wife, Regina of Waco, Texas; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a brother Thurman Stone.

A celebration of life service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Northwood United Methodist Church, 2409 Ambassador Court, High Point with Rev. Donna Friddle, Rev. Jeff Sypole and Rev. Bobby Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.
