Fred was a very special man, never meet another like him. I worked for him many years and I never will forget our days. We had the best times at Credit Consultants. We were family! He was the greatest boss a person could have. He will be greatly missed!

Mr. Swartzberg and my dad, Nick Lawrence DiFoggio, were friends many years ago. I also knew him from his wonderful store, Tobias. He was a gentleman and had this thunderous voice that just mesmerized me as a kid. He always had something nice to say about someone else. I do wish I could have spent more time with him. He will be missed. May God bless his family and give them comfort and peace.

I wasn't aware Fred had passed until yesterday evening and you don't know how bad I was hoping this wasn't true. I'm so very sorry for your loss and I am heart broken to know I miss his services.
I worked with Fred for a long time, he became a Father figure to me. I missed him when he retired and I will now miss him even more. Great memories will remain in my heart and I will forever cherish the last visit I had with him. (Dinner 6 weeks ago)
May Peace be with you all,
Vickie Hobbs

Mr. Swartzberg was a true gentleman. I had the pleasure of selling and servicing his van and he was great to see. A devoted husband to Mrs. Swartzberg making sure the added comforts to the van worked properly and worked with us to understand the operations. He was a real High Pointer. We will miss him.

As a young college student many years ago, Fred Swartzberg was one of the best bosses I have ever had the chance to work for. The world is a better place because of his presence. He will truly be missed.

Fred was an inspiration to me and a role model as I was growing up. I joined the Boy Scouts because of him and the Jaycees when he was president. He was a leader at the Boy Scout camp I attended each year. I know of few persons who exemplify the ideals, ethics, and morals that made Fred the person he was. I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to visit him just a couple weeks ago. He will always be in my memory.

I never met or knew of a finer or more moral, kind and gentle man than Fred Swartzberg. His whole life was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a man of deep faith who loved his God, loved his family, and his fellowman.

His loss lessens us all, but God has called him home after his race was run. And what a marvelous, inspiring, and character-filled race he ran.

God Bless you and your family Fred. You will live forever in our hearts.

My dad recently moved to Westchester Village. Fred warmly welcomed him, making his transition so much easier. His sense of humor and easy manner truly brightened my dad's days! Fred's gracious and warm presence will be missed by many. I am very sorry for your loss.
