Dear Karen and Linda and Family,
It may never sink in, that Fred is not with us on this earth anymore. He was larger than life, and left an indelible mark on our lives. He will certainly remain in my heart forever. He accomplished so much, always with a cheerful attitude, doing tasks in no time at all that would take someone else forever to finish. He plodded on through thick and thin, determined to help in any way he could. Fred Wayboer was amazing, and unforgettable.
In my life, he lives on forever.

We have many fond memories of Fred. Our favorite was watching Fred and David’s father share memories of their days in the merchant marine.

David and I knew Fred when we were young and they (with his wife Eunice) were among the first friends we made as a couple in NJ. Fred was an amazingly talented craftsman who could build just about anything like the skates for his ice boat from scratch. He was eager to share his knowledge and talents and with Eunice ready to be welcoming and caring. His service to our country was understated ! We appreciated his friendship and stood in awe of his character. May his strengths help his family bear their grief. Our deepest sympathies and love. Rosemarie
