James Lynn Robertson

TRINITY – James “Jim” Lynn Robertson, 70, died Monday, January 8, 2018, at High Point Regional Hospital.

He was born June 6, 1947, in Guilford County and was the son of the late David E. and Wilma Johnson Robertson.  He was a retired sales manager in retail management and was a member of Archdale Friends Meeting.  He was an avid and die-hard Carolina Tar Heel Fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Grissom.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona Power Robertson, whom he married on May 2, 1981; two daughters, Cheryl R. Hancock and her husband, Tom, of Kernersville and Stefanie Robertson of Greensboro; two grandchildren, Hollie Hancock and Anna Grace Hancock; one brother, Don Robertson and his wife, Jeannie, of Murray, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service celebrating Jim’s life will be held 4:00 PM Friday, January 12, 2018, at Archdale Friends Meeting with Rusty Parsons, Minister, and Scott Wagoner, Minister, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Thursday at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
