Joseph P. Johnson Jr.

Joseph P. Johnson, Jr., age 77, of High Point, passed away on Monday, October 9, at the Hospice Home at High Point. He was a wonderful husband and a good man. Friends and family will long remember his passion for life, dry wit, hearty laughter, strength of character and warm, generous spirit. Whatever business or activity he pursued, he challenged himself to learn to do it right and be the best he could be, all while encouraging and mentoring others. Joe volunteered years of support and leadership to several international clubs, enjoying adventurous travel to club events and the camaraderie of kindred hobby enthusiasts.

Among the many who will mourn his passing are his adoring wife Karen, by his side for over 20 years, her extended family, as well as his brother Richard and his family of Mount Airy, Joe’s home town.
