An awesome young man...faithful to community, to family and to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While Justin's work on earth is done, the impact of his life will be far reaching because of the Christ-like love he shared. To the family, we love you all and continue to pray for you, that God will give you strength in the days ahead.

I was so shocked when I learned that Justin's life came come to an end. In fact, I'm still in shock.

Justin interned at the Greensboro Historical Museum the Summer of 2011 and I had the pleasure of getting to know this fine young man as his supervisior. After finishing his degree at Guilford College, he was so eager to learn and no matter the task, he did it willingly. His project at the museum was photographing and cataloging objects in the Hockett blacksmith shop. Often the work was dirty and hot, but he never complained about it.

The young man I got to know that summer was a special person who cared a great deal about his family and friends. I feel fortunate that I got to know him, and if am deeply saddened that his life ended prematurely.

My thoughts and prayers go to his family and everyone whose life he touched.

I had the honor of coaching with Justin this past season at RMS. His memory will stay with me forever as being a God fearing, family first young man! He brought honor to his family and community and always put the players first. Baseball has a lot of downtime and during these times I learned a lot about a very loyal, humble and dedicated person. He will be missed, but it was my great fortune to have shared a season with him.

My name is Deanne Leigh (Davis) Fulkerson. I am from Randleman and I am pretty sure that my Mother, Lucky Davis, may have taught Justin in his Middle School years. When sharing the news with her, she was quite heartbroken and couldn't sing his praises enough. I was on staff at RMS from 1999-2007 and again from 2008-Christmas Break of 2011 before relocating to Las Vegas.
His Media co-worker and I are ver dear friends and she has so sung his praises over his years there at RMS. I know that he was so well thought of by coworkers there and I had the privilege of meeting him when visiting RMS on one of my visits back home.
No doubt ; he was loved by many and truly an inspiration. May God wrap you all up in his loving grace and shower you with courage and endurance in this very difficult time where there is no understanding. May treasured memories and love prove a blessing in the days ahead.

I just need to say that JP was a very special friend. We always had a great time when Mark, Grey, David, JP, Kyle, Ben and myself would go to football games. There was never a dull moment and we had times only special friends could have. I've got a heavy heart for your loss, but I keep thinking about the time we were talking about someone that had passed and you said,"when your number comes up you're going, so you better be ready", and now I think about that often. We don't understand why, but there's no doubt that God needed you for a reason which one day we'll meet and we'll understand more than we know now. Keep an eye on us and although you won't be there in person, you will be with us in spirit. To Gary, Terri and Morgan…we lost a fine young man which is a tribute to his raising, but one day all of us will be able to laugh and talk about our days on earth. I'm sorry, and I've got a heavy heart. PJ we love you and will miss you. Norman Hall and Family
