“I am Well and I am Blessed.”

Linda would like for me to announce to her family and friends that on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, she accepted the ultimate position as one of our Lord and Savior’s Angels. She had been dealing with many serious health issues the past several years and we knew this time was coming; we just didn’t believe it would be this soon.

Linda will always be known as a people person. She mostly worked in the food service industry for many years as a store manager for a major fast food chain and also as the owner/operator of Sissy’s diner.

Linda was born the baby girl of Charlie and Margie Cameron Stanley. She was preceded in death by her Grannie Belle, Grannie Hattie, Paw Paw Robert, father, Charlie, her sister, Faye Maynard, and cat, Precious.

She is survived by her son, Daniel; her mother, Margie; sisters, Margie Ann, Cheryl, and twin, Glenda, and their spouses; brothers, Willie and Ronnie, and their spouses; and special friend, Maxie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Even though she loved all of her family and friends, certain nephews and nieces held a special place inside her heart. Bobby, you are more like a little brother to her. Nicole, you are the daughter she always wanted. Jacob and Kamryn, you will forever be her little prince and little princess. You are two of the reasons she fought her health issues so hard. Jacob, mom wanted so much to watch you walk across the stage at graduation, but she now has the best seat reserved for your event. Tucker, you will never know how much you brightened her days because of your hugs after her stroke when many others seemed to shy away from her.

The family will receive friends Sunday night, Feb. 26th, from 6 until 8 at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27th, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, officiated by Pastor Bruno Wolf. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. After the service, family and friends will gather at 4711 Cottage Ln. in Trinity.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her medical care teams and dental offices.

Mom, you have fought very hard and never gave up. I am very proud of you and very proud to be your son. God let me have you as a mother, but needed you back. You have perfect health now and are rejoicing in Heaven with those that went before you to prepare your new home.                                                                                                                                            I love you! - Daniel
