Loretta May (Wolford) Mode

Mrs. Loretta May Wolford Mode, 80, resident of Archdale, died February 15, 2018 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Mrs. Mode was born June 3, 1937 in Buchanan County, VA, a daughter to the late Rev. A.J. and Angeline Stacy Wolford.  She was a resident of this area most of her life, worked as a home-sitter and was a member of The Salvation Army.  In 1966, she married Lonos Mode who preceded her in death in 1981.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded by a brother, Rabon Wolford.

Surviving is a daughter, Amanda Mason and friend Keith of High Point; two sons, Kenneth Watson and wife Michele of Mansfield, OH and Curtis Branch and wife Teresa of Asheboro; seven grandchildren, Taylor Mason, Thomas Mason, Patty Jordan, Heather Chavis, Holly Branch, Sabrina Varner and Richard Stewart; and thirteen great grandchildren, Brian, Madison, Haley, Angelina, Alexandria, A.J., Caleb, D.J., Cierra, Kobe, Kyra, Kendra and Kwesi.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at The Salvation Army, 121 SW Cloverleaf Pl. High Point, NC, 27263. Memorials may be directed to there as well.
