Phillip Brian Edwards

ARCHDALE- Phillip Brian Edwards, 33, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

He was born on October 20, 1984 in Thomasville, to Jerry and Edith Wilson Edwards. A resident of this area all of his life, he was a 2002 graduate of Trinity High School, and he owned and operated Venom Pest Solutions.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Phillip enjoyed Mustang week at the beach and spending time with his family and friends.  He was a loving father, son, brother, nephew and cousin and will be dearly missed. Preceding him in death were his daughter; Harper Grace Edwards; his father, Jerry Edwards; 2 sisters, Kimberly and Ashely Edwards; his paternal grandparents, Fado and Ida Mae Edwards; his maternal grandfather, Herbert V. Wilson; an aunt, Ester Hardee; an uncle, David Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Edith Wilson Edwards; his brother, Jason Edwards and his wife Heather; his sister, Jerri Lynn Edwards; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Walton Wilson; uncles and aunts, Tracy and Sharon Wilson, Bobby and Patsy Swicegood, Clifford and Margie Dotson, Charles and Frances Lanier, David and JoAnn Walser, Rhonda Wilson,  Bryson and Gracie Skipper, Larry and Linda Fink, Toye and Carol Edwards, Jack and Cindy Edwards, and Arnold Edwards; 2 nieces, Kaylee and Emerson Edwards; nephews, Jaxson Edwards, Max Routh, and his former wife, Lindsay Royals. Also surviving are his close friends, Scott Kennedy, Edward Jenkins, Chuck Jenkins, David Spence and Marty Beck.

A service to celebrate Phillip’s life will be held on Sunday, February 18, at 3 pm, at Archdale Assembly of God, with Pastor Billy Myers officiating. His family will receive friends following the service, at the church.
