Wes was just the cream of the crop in every way. We miss him. I know he is fine now but can't help wishing he were still here with us for great fellowship and conversation that he was always a part of. Love to his family. You have a great heritage.

my God, my strength, in whom I take refuge;

Wes was a fine person and dedicated to his craft. "Tell Your Neighbor " was such a great local program on WMFR and he made it so. We used to laugh about some of the callers and their crazy topics! I worked with him for 19 years at WMFR and WMAG where we were one big happy family. Godspeed...your voice will be welcomed in Paradise.

Wes was a wonderful friend. We spent a great deal of time 'walking down Memory Lane', tearfully sharing stories of the loves of our lives, Linda and Ben. Wes is more alive now than he has been since Linda passed into the presence of the Lord. For the widowed, the moment of death is the sweet embrace of the one we've missed so much.
I am praying for Wes' children, grandchildren, and numerous friends, whom he loved so very much.
"Those we love are with the Lord, and the Lord has promised to be with us. If they are with Him, and He is with us, they cannot be far away." Peter Marshall
Wes will be missed by all who knew him and his voice.

Wes was a friend within our group for those widowed, "Now What?". He came to us with such love for his late wife and grew in strength over time. He loved his family dearly and we always enjoyed his pictures. I know your hearts are breaking but he is at peace in his heart as he joined his beloved Linda. I'm so sorry.

Leslie and Brian, you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers. Wes was more like a brother than a life-long friend. We met at 12 years old when I moved to High Point. We went to the same church and accepted Christ on the same night at Ennis Street Wesleyan Church. We enjoyed many years of the same interests in life. I will miss him more than I can express. I will see you again "brother" in HeavenI

What a great friend and fellow broadcaster. Wes was a gentle man with a lot of knowledge of broadcasting. A man who towered over my head and a smile on his face..
I will miss his wit and laughter. He,s now Home with The Lord and his wife Linda.
The body goes back to the earth but the soul is Home with The Lord. Thank you Wes for crossing my path. May The Lord wrap His arms of love around his family in this time of sorrow.
