I remember when Bruce and Carol waited for over a year to buy a mastiff from us. Boy, he loved that dog! And wolf too! Sorry to see Bruce passed away. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Lisa, I was so socked when Benny called to tell me about Bruce. They were friends for so many years through high school at Trinity, and in the marching Blue Crew. I have traveled many miles and sat on cold bleachers in the rain to see them perform. Their early years as best friends working on the Mustang are special memories of Benny’s and he has spoken often of their antics. But, as life goes on, families grow and things change. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are for you and your sons to find comfort in the Lord as the next days and weeks go by. May God bless you in His special ways.

I marched a lot of miles next to Bruce as one of the "Fiberglass Fools" in the tuba section of the Trinity Marching Band. Bruce had a great sense of humor, was always smiling or laughing and was always a lot of fun to be around. Bruce and I got in a lot of trouble the year we converted the back of a Moore Brothers Bus into a tour bus fit for a rock star on one of the band marching trips. He was like MacGuyver and improvised a sound system, mood lighting. . .it was awesome. He also helped us rig up three tubas with coat hanger engineering and Christmas lights so that the bell of the tubas blinked T-H-S at a pep rally. He was really mechanically gifted in so many ways. Nobody could make a Ford 351 Cleveland engine purr like a kitten the way Bruce could.

I know that he will be sorely missed. I pray for God's peace and comfort for his family. I now that you are all hurting right now and it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Know that God loves you all and He's going to hold you in His hands in the coming days. I hope you can find comfort know that Bruce is reborn at the feet of Jesus and that he's only separated from you for a short while until Christ gathers His children.

God bless and comfort you all.

I was in the Trinity band with Bruce along with David Frazier.. we all were in the Tuba section, we called our section the Fiberglass Fools. Bruce's laughter and easy going outlook made him self such a joy to be around. Stunned to know we all have lost a true friend way too early. I pray the peace of God to flood his family and all that knew him. Again we are all reminded of the frailness of Life and how short it is...just like Bruce always did, tell those around you they are loved!
