Deborah "Debbie" Dillon

SOPHIA-Deborah “Debbie” Dillon, 61, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017.

She was born on February 16, 1956 in Suffolk, VA to Jane Jones Dillon and Thomas Paul Dillon. A resident of this area most of her life, she worked for Braxton Culler for 29 years. Debbie was an avid race fan; especially going to races at Caraway Speedway, watching NASCAR, and working on race cars. She also enjoyed going to the beach, listening to John Hagee preaching on TV and taking care of people. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father and by a brother, Michael Dillon.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her daughter, Tina Ann Rampersad and husband Ravi; her mother, Jane Dillon; her sisters, Pat Dillon and Penny Miller; her brother, Tim Dillon and wife Betty. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kayla, Sara, Braeden, and Bradley and a number of nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Kenny Brown.

A service to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held Friday, May 26, at 2 pm, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Leroy Tyson, Pastor of the House of Glory Ministries in Thomasville, officiating.
