I could fill the screen telling everyone what a wonderful lady and dear friend Jacqueline was but I think I can condense it down to just one line.......You'll never meet any finer a person than my Jacqueline.
The good Lord gave us the gift of friendship so we could carry each other through the rough spots and lift each other up in laughter and friendship!
Although in the last couple of years, we talked less often and visited even less, I know Jacqueline thought of me as often as I did her.......and smiled, chuckled or knew what the answer would be.
Good grief! I'm going to miss this dear soul.
Jacqueline, my friend, I hope you get to see Italy now that you have wings of your own to take you there! I loved you best of all, doll! Until we meet again.

My history with Jacqueline is long, but my partner Michael Darnell's is even longer.
I loved our lunches out, the dinners in, the shopping excursions to the Maxx, the British-style teas in our homes, her servings of coffee that were marvelously heavy on the half-and-half, and the endless glasses of merlot on her back porch.
Years ago when I wanted to make a baby happen, I had no idea how to go about it. Everyone thought I was absolutely nuts, and Michael was ready to bring in a team with straightjackets to my door.
Jacqueline, however, was the first to look at me and say, "I can see you doing this, and you'll be good at it." Michael, she added with a discreet whisper, "not so much." She was so pleased to see he turned out great with our girl after all.
My stars, we are going to miss this lady. We love her so much.
