Jeanette Price Hallman, 77, died Friday, August 4, 2017, at High Point Regional Hospital.
She was born November 12, 1939, in Asheboro and was the daughter of the late E.W. and Dorothy Baumgartner Price. She attended High Point University and retired from Bryant Electric Company. She was a member of Ward Street United Methodist Church where she had served as church secretary and attended Rich Fork Baptist Church in recent years. She dedicated her life to her family and then later to her birds and roses.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Richard Hallman whom she married on June 18, 1961; three sons, Harvey Russell Hallman II, David Linwood Hallman and his wife, Penny, and Richard Brian Hallman and his wife, Jamie, all of Thomasville; she was lovingly known as “Mawmaw” by her five grandchildren, Lauren Taylor Hallman, Richard Alexander “Alex” Hallman, Madison “Madi” Price Hallman, Emily Ruth Hallman, and Elizabeth Lynn Hallman. She is also survived by one sister, Carolyn McKay and her husband, Bob, of Winston-Salem; and one brother, E.W. Price, Jr., and his wife, Gail, of Thomasville.
Memorial service celebrating Jeanette’s life will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Rich Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Bowers officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.
