I first met Carole in 1961 when we were freshmen and roommates at Western Carolina University. As I struggle with this loss I know I personally feel blessed to have this friendship for 56 years. It hurts to lose a dear friend. Carole always looked beautiful, but what was most beautiful was her grateful heart and love for her family. My prayers go out to the Womble Family. May God wrap His arms around each of you to bring comfort and peace.
