Marilyn Young was one of the first people I met when I started attending GSUCC in Cary. I think we immediately bonded due to her marvelously irreverent spirit and lively exuberance. What a fantastic gal she was and however briefly, I am glad she was in my life.

As we grow older ourselves we often find the relationship with our mothers becoming meaningful in ways we couldn't imagine as young girls. So it is doubly hard when we lose them, because we lose not only our mother but our best friend as well.

I will always remember the wonderful lady Marilyn was and I am so thankful I got to meet her and spend time with her when visiting Janet many years ago. Sending love to your entire family on Marilyn's passing.
